About Centre

Take pleasure in painting, drawing, learning about art, colour teqniques joining MetaxArt Painting Workshops, in the exotic island of Kefalonia, Greece.

The clarity of light in Kefalonia creates a perfect environment where students from all over the world can perceive colour in a unique way. Teaching is adapted to the abilities and needs of each individual while allowing them to enjoy their stay on the Island. 


Additional workshops/retreats are delivered in smaller groups and with a focus on elements of composition, still life, painting exercises and visual grammar.

Natasha Metaxa is a professional art teacher with over 30 years of experience in teaching art to all levels of education and age.


Natasha has taught art at the Aegean University, at Primary and High schools, at college and adults for lifelong learning as well, in Greece.


All this experience has inspired her to create MetaxArt Workshops in Kefalonia Island and Athens where she teaches art in fully organised studios.
