During the Confidence and Skill Builder phase of the course, level 2 students take on a range of tasks to learn fundamental skills on research, media, development, refinement and creative processes.

Whilst taking on various tasks, they also will build on experience of creating compositions, playing with light and shadow and, for this task in particular, challenge other patterns, textures and reflections.

So, there is a lot more being done alongside their development to reach these amazing outcomes. We get to see their fantastic observational skills in this portfolio, but knowing these students have limited experience in creating artwork at this stage, you can see how quickly students can develop. These outcomes for task 5 are astounding…some are hard to believe are drawings…zoom in, I assure you they are!
