Pathway is the second phase of our Foundation Diploma course.
Upon completing the Exploratory Stage of the course students will have had a range of opportunities to explore a range of mediums for their creative potential and briefs that let them to explore broad genres through creative projects.
The pathway stage begins with a diagnostic project which encourages students to explore research, both visual and written to better define a contextual area for the pathway whilst exploring playful models of practice and communicating this through their outcomes.
On completion of this stage, students move on to explore one of the more specific pathway briefs which will bring focus to their emerging practice.
The need for more in-depth investigations and the development of ideas is a key part of student development during this Pathway stage and students will begin to demonstrate a level of autonomy in their studies.
This exhibition shows the many different pathways and outcomes this stage of the course leads to.
