Brussels Art Lessons

About Centre

Small group classes in the center of brussels, learn to draw and paint or improve your practice.

In my studio, students learn to draw and paint or improve their existing skills.

I will teach you the basics about light, form, line, colour and space, and how to constantly grow and improve. We start with drawing from observation and continue to other mediums, including oil paint, once the student is ready. Learn how to make a drawing or a painting from beginning to end, how to conceptualize ideas, build your portfolio, find your voice. Learn drawing, oil paintings, watercolour or acrylic.

My goal is to help my students improve their skills and understanding.

The classes are in a small group format and each student works at their own pace with individual instruction. The environment is supportive in which to learn and grow. Each student receives personalized instruction at their own level. Each student is guaranteed to improve in accordance to their goals

I organize week-long workshops surrounding a theme, such as still life, portrait, life drawing, etc, and together in this intensive moment we will cover the basics and produce some great work, as well as learn from art history and contemporary art, visit museums and galleries, and talk about art.

The classes take place in my studio in the charming location of Grand Hospice, a converted hospice in the city center of Brussels.

Some mediums we use include drawing materials such as pencil and charcoal, oil paint, acrylic and watercolour. We can also do linoprinting.
