About Centre

Isabelle’s Art Studio is a private studio located in the historic center of Florence (near important museums like the Accademia Museum, San Marco Museum) addressed to those who wish to learn art techniques, following the methods of Renaissance, modern and contemporary Masters. The purpose of the course  is to give students the keys to acquire a personal expression.

The teaching is given gradually,  to beginners or to artists who want to improve some techniques. The particularity of the pedagogy is that each student is followed at his own level (basic, intermediary or advanced), and can choose 4 programs he wants to learn : drawing, soft pastels, watercolor, oil painting.

  • Number of participants limited ensure the quality of teaching and that each student receives the greatest attention, (8 /9 pers max)
  • Different program are proposed : drawing, soft pastels, watercolor, oil painting from life (still lifes, cast).

Jeanne-Isabelle is a painter and sculptor and art teacher with over 25 years of teaching Art. She first graduated in Art History at the University of Sorbonne (Paris), and then came to Florence where she followed the Scuola Libera del Nudo  and the Russian Academy, the studio of the painter Alessandro Berti and the sculptor Vincenzo Ventimiglia (Accademia di Belle Arti).

She has been teaching Art for 13 years at the Ecole Française of Florence, and organized some workshops for shools at The Institut français. Today, she exhibit her works in galleries in Italy and easter (Galleria Forni of Bologna, Ransom art gallery in London, Laurence Esnol Gallery in Paris).
