KWASSIE Art Studio Vienna

About Centre

Kwassie Art Studio creates a focused learning environment in a working studio space in Vienna’s 3rd district, led by Isidora Krstic, a practicing artist with a background in fine arts. We adapt to each student’s individual pace and needs, encouraging intuitive expression and exploration alongside a strong foundation in fine arts technique.

As an OCAD satellite location, we support students on the L2 Art & Design and L3 Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media through workshops and courses in watercolour and acrylic painting (including mediums such as structure paste), mixed media, collage, pen and ink, charcoal and pencil drawing and oil and dry pastel.

Beyond scheduled classes, students have access to open studio sessions, mentoring sessions and additional studio time.

Kwassie Art Studio regularly hosts master classes and workshops by guest artists, providing students the opportunity to learn new techniques and artistic methods from professional artists.

Apart from gaining practical knowledge, Kwassie Art Studio’s supports the student to discover their unique artistic voice and develop their creative confidence. Apart from gaining practical knowledge, we regularly discuss art history, contemporary and historical positions and organise visits to Vienna’s museums.
