We are directly influencing the future of the Music Industry!

Focusing on the acquisition of practical skills and knowledge applicable to the sector, RSL’s Music Practitioners Qualifications at Levels 3 with OCAD, offers aspiring producers, performers, songwriters and entrepreneurs the opportunity to surround themselves in music while gaining a fully regulated and recognised qualification in the process.

These qualifications offer practically-focused alternatives to traditional GCSEs and A Levels, whilst retaining the rigour and recognition required for progression. Giving our students increased learner engagement, and extra qualification flexibility!

Our Level 3 course is equivalent to A-Levels and offers UCAS points that are critical for university entry. Depending on your final grade, you can earn between 48 and 168 points, making this course a vital step towards your academic future.

How it works

Throughout the course, students are guided through the various units via online lessons which can be viewed at a time convenient for the individual, whether live or recorded.

Live Lessons are taught twice weekly, which are also recorded for students to catch up on, or to watch again. Lessons will initially focus on developing a range of skills. One-to-one support sessions are available, if required, with the tutor to discuss each unit and assignment, and provide feedback on progress.

The course begins with induction where students discuss their previous background and desired route through the course and beyond. Students are guided through an overview of the course and what is required.
